#CHACOOKSWHATEVER : GREEN SALAD WITH BLACK BEANS & FRIED CHICKEN PESTO

Let's go green first b'coz it's a part of the #chacookswhatever. We will make it more clean and healthy. 


Here's my Green Salad with Black Beans and Fried Chicken Pesto. This is my one of my favorite vegetable salad. It's yummy and interesting and healthy that is very good for your family dinner.

Ingredients

(salad)


  • Lettuce
  • Tomato
  • Apple
  • Bell Pepper 
  • Cucumber
  • Black Beans
  • Black Olive


(fried chicken)
  • Chicken Breast/Thighs (boneless and skinless)
  • McCormick Pesto Sauce Mix
  • Chilli Powder
  • Salt 
  • Pepper
  • Lemon
  • Veg Oil

(dressing)
  • Olive Oil
  • Lemon
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Dried Basil
  • Garlic
Instruction 
  1. Make the dressing: Get the juice from the fresh lemon (better) or you can use lemon juice powder and mix  it to water. Combine all the dressing ingredients in a jar with lid then shake it to blend. 
  2. For the chicken: Marinate the chicken breast with pesto mix powder, chilli powder, salt and pepper and a small amount of lemon juice. Fry the marinated chicken in a low heat with vegetable oil. Cut it into a strips.
  3. Wash and cut all the salad ingredients. Refrigerate until cold and crisp.
  4. Toss with dressing and garnish with fried chicken pesto strips. 
Try it and share it with you friends and relatives. Follow your heart while cooking you can add and do whatever you want. B'coz I cook whatever!!! Till next time folks!!!
